Open House – The DDC held an Open House Event at Mukwonago Community Library to view Streetscape Concepts for Comments on Saturday, March 14, from 9am to 11 am.  A staff member from FOTH was present to address questions and to collect feedback on which of the concepts and elements the public would like to see in a finalized concept proposal.

Open House – The DDC is holding an open house on Thursday, February 27th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  You will be able to review conceptual streetscaping and wayfinding plans inspired by YOUR ideas from the design charrette. Your feedback is valuable and needed!

Charette – The DDC held a charette on January 23rd at Village Hall. There was about 50 attendees who were able to share their input by participating in interactive workshops with the DDC members and FOTH. Check out the videos here. 

FOTH – The DDC went forward with FOTH as the firm to execute the Downtown Village roadway design and streetscaping enhancement plan, which also includes recreational and wayfinding signage. FOTH will be presenting at the special January 10th meeting at 5pm at Village Hall and the first open house will be held at Village Hall lower level community room on January 23rd from 6pm to 8pm.

Request for Proposals (RFP) – The Downtown Development Committee (DDC) invited all qualified designers, landscape architects, graphic artists, and/or other professionals to submit proposals to create a Downtown Village roadway design and streetscaping enhancement plan that includes recreational and wayfinding signage.  These proposals will be presented at the November 21st meeting.  Following presentation, DDC will review and deliberate prior to making final selection on Thursday in form of recommendation to the Dec. 4 Committee of the Whole, then to the Dec. 18 Village Board meeting.

Crosswalk Initiatives – The DDC has installed solar-powered flashing crosswalk signs to promote a pedestrian friendly downtown.
